LutherMuseums in Wittenberg
The Luther museums in Lutherstadt Wittenberg include the Luther House and the Melanchthon House. The Luther House is now the world's largest museum dedicated to the history of the Reformation, where you can learn all about the movement and its greatest proponents - above all, of course, Martin Luther. Incidentally, the historic building was once the home of Martin Luther and Katharina von Bora and witness to many a dinner conversation that led to the Reformation. In the Melanchthon House you will find a wonderful exhibition about the life and work of Philipp Melanchthon, one of Martin Luther's most important companions and the so-called "Teacher of Germany". This house was also the home of Melanchthon and his family at the time of the Reformation.
