This summer, the Wittenberg Art Trails are changing the familiar image of the shopping streets in Wittenberg's old town centre. From August 15th to September 12th 2025, art will blend into the shop windows - sometimes obviously, sometimes only on closer inspection. This art campaign not only revitalises empty spaces, but also invites you to take a special shopping trip that heightens your senses for the dialogue between art and everyday life. The Wittenberg Art Trails offer a platform for professional artists and ambitious amateurs. Here you can experience diversity! From fine and applied art in various formats to small pieces of jewellery - all in interaction with everyday life and far removed from the tranquillity and reverie of gallery spaces. 
Look out for the coloured waypoints that will lead you to the participating shops on your tour of the city. On the opening evening on August 15th at 6 pm, Lutherstadt Wittenberg and the organisers and artists invite you to an opening in the Old Town Hall. The tour of the exhibiting shops starts at 7.30 pm.
