Zeughaus Wittenberg

Visit the redesigned museum of the town history in the arsenal Wittenberg and examine the more than 700 years old town collection.

The exhibition provides an insight into the general city development regarding  history, present and future of the Arsenalplatz and its buildings. This includes the use of the Artillery Carriage House on the Arsenalplatz as a new exhibition building for the Municipal Collections of Lutherstadt Wittenberg. The collections, from which a selected part is presented here, consist of several parts, such as the archive and city-historical collection and the natural history and  ethnographic collections of Julius Riemer.
